I’m sure this is posted somewhere, I couldnt find, but the other day I tried Yin yoga for the first time ever, and afterwards I was crying, for a couple hours. I always thought that we held emotion in our hips and shoulders, and was quite surprised by this. But does this mean its a release of an emotional block? That it’s cleared from my emotional body and energy body?
For as long as I remember people have spontaneously begun sobbing at the end of a practice, very common, rings the stress and emotion right out of you, snicker.
Some types of yogas have created a crying emotion for me, however, some are very pleasant and leave me feeling fit and like a hundred bucks!
I know whenever I have been in a class and its finished with “Radiate awareness to your whole body and a nice happy smile to go about your day” I feel a little emotional inside.
