a big issue was with the balance of foods, either all junk food or to the other extreme trying to eat perfect. That extreme eating behavior has calmed down quite a bit and is more balanced now so being stuck in not such an issue at this point in my life. I do drink water now as one of the first things upon waking up, working on eating more salad, less meat, well balanced eating, consistent balanced exercise, etc…

Agreed - it’s all about balance - and a healthy water intake.
I find that a good long fast walk every day is best for constipation.
I read that constipation sometimes result of mental block of letting go… quite interesting

From my experience I believe this has value
I once went to a meditation type retreat for a week, no physical exercises. Yet it definitely got some things unstuck, mentally and physically. There was no food served so it does not seem likely that it was because of a change in diet
I believe foods that are rich in fibers like pineapple. Fruits are really great to prevent from being constipated especially when you juice it.
