I was wondering how any of you all found your way on the path you knew was right for you? I am in need of a guru, life coach or whatever right now. I feel so lost and I was wondering…how did you find your path? Thanks all.
Let’s start with been there and done that and it all came down to
Stop questioning yourself and get on a path, you are all you need. Just relax and you will get where you need to be.
“There is truth, wisdom, and “enlightenment” in Christianity, especially in its most complete form, Catholicism”
Thomas,
It is not really the case. Simply because Christianity has no methods whatsoever for the expansion of consciousness. Jesus himself had not prescribed any methods for one’s liberation. At the most, he has spoken of prayer, which in itself is not a method for transformation. Unless your attention is one-pointed in prayer, and you invest yourself into that and do nothing else for an extended period of time, then something like “prayer” can trigger a transformation. But it is not because of any “God” who has heard one’s prayers, one is simply awakening certain aspects of one’s own consciousness which are already there, but have remained hidden from one’s vision. In that sense, “prayer” can be useful. That is a method of bhakhti yoga. But Jesus himself, as far as the New Testament is concerned, has not spoken directly of any methods to come to one’s enlightenment - and the Church has been trying hard to repress anything whatsoever which can assist the individual towards coming to know himself, through and through. Because the moment one starts doing one’s own work, the moment one starts taking one’s own freedom into one’s own hands, then nobody is going to fill the temples. That is going to be a threat to all of the people who are in authority in the Church. There is a more mystical dimension of Christianity, Gnosticism, which has been centered around coming to a state of “gnosis”, direct perception of one’s divine nature, but they are all considered heretics.
