Wow that guy looks like he’s on steroids, I never had any intention of resembling anything close to that. I don’t think his methods will interest me, partially because hes 1500 km away too… I started training Muay Thai in december because my new goal is to fight mma. Yoga has benefited me in several ways for this: during training I’m relaxed my mind is very clear and I pick up techniques quickly. My agility is the best in the class, I’m not bragging I’m just attributing this to my yoga practice, and my flexibility allows my high kicks to clear a 6ft persons head. 7 months ago if I were to do a sitting forward bend I would maybe be able to reach slightly beyond my knees. Yoga is so beneficial to the body and mind that I will certainly be practicing for the rest of my life and I would recommend it to anyone. To you Jordan: I have an extremely fast metabolism as well, no exaggeration on extreme thats why I was obsessed with building muscle, but since I’ve stopped lifting weights my body feels a lot less stressed. I think if you try eating nothing before yoga your practice could be more effective then it already is. I personally eat nothing before yoga and I do it either right when I wake up or 1-2 hours after, meaning I potentially haven’t eaten anything for 11+ hours before practice. I find once I start doing it I dont even notice my hunger because im focused on something else.
