I have been hitting tredmill since 5 yrs and I used to sprint for 15 mts. Then do minor warm up exercises like abs etc. In the recent past I had a lot of dizziness and stuff, so one of my friend suggested trying Shirsasan (stand upside down) as it would supply the brain with lots of blood and make me fresh always.
Anyhow for the past 2 months or so, I have been doing Shirsasan right after tredmill for 2 mts. I was initially feeling good but for the past 2 weeks, I have been getting panic attacks and constant over-thinking and worrying about some non-sense (like I miss my family, even if they are here with me). At night I would wake up with jerk and start panicking around waking up everyone! I used to feel great heartbeats, constant rush of feelings that something is gonna happen to me etc. I control my breath for a minute and release it gradually (pranayama) but no use.
Could anyone please help me or guide me through the above, as to if Shirsasan is good for starters like me or its having negative impact on my health? And if there are ways to prevent panic attacks and anxious thoughts constantly. Really need help!
