Yoga & anxiety

I have always suffered from anxiety!! Pretty severely. After having my 2nd child it was so bad I was not sleeping. I was then getting depressed. My eating was off!! I was a mess. I started doing my Sivananda yoga practice. I would work at it at my own pace…this means I practised poses I liked…or ones that made me feel good. I then continued to relax and then meditate and breathe. And now almost 4 years later…and doing yoga everyday I’m doing pretty good with my anxiety levels. I sleep great at night…and if I find I’m in an anxiety craze…I breathe!!! I’m even a yoga instructor telling my students the same thing!! Good luck!!!
