Yoga elements
I just love the concept of the “elements” and evidently others do also! What inspired you?
I had practised ashtanga for a while when a friend suggested I try Iyengar. Her description intrigued me, so I went to a studio on a few occasions. I found the Iyengar practice helped my Ashtanga practice a great deal. The Iyengar isolated and broke down the postures in a way Ashtanga did not, so when I got back to my regular practice I found it improved.

I tried other disciplines and found similar experiences. Each was wonderful in their own way, and complemented each other so well FOR ME. At the same time, I hired a Feng Shui master to work with my design team at my old business. So, the idea of ‘elements’ and ‘yoga’ blended.

Now, I look around and find that this is not a unique epiphany. Several studios are using the elements to describe their multi-disciplinary offerings. That’s pretty reaffirming.

Thanks for asking and your support LG. I also wish we could practise together. One day I will make it south, when I can tear myself away from here

I want to let friends know that this yoga retreat is being offered on a donation basis, after the costs of the retreat center are met.
Please contact me for details.Blessings

And Flex, we aren’t too scary here in Ohio. If you do find yourself heading south, you’ll definitely have to come to one of my classes! Anytime!

Flex,
This discussion inspires me to offer to you and your students a One Day workshop on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra. If it sounds good and fits into your scheme of things, I will send the details. Cheers.

As I look out the window of my studio this morning, and watch the first snow falling for the season, the idea of a trip furthere south is tempting

Suhas, what a wonderful idea!
