A fish out of water

Why is it that every time I walk into a yoga school, whether to look or train, I feel like a fish out of water?

I simply do not feel like I belong there, I have had private lessons that were awesome and I feel very comfortable but put me in a room full of people doing yoga and I am just not comfortable. I can do what I have been taught at home and I feel great… but in a class?. not great at all.

There are two possibilities.

The first is that you simply have yet to find the place/community that resonates with your frequency or is appropriate for you.

The second is that your frequency is begging for some attention, refinement, honing, and tuning. Put another way this is coming up so that you can look and see it, understand it, then addresses so that you may move on to your spirit’s next lesson.

Sometimes fitting in takes time, a certain level of welcoming from both the surrounding environment (including people) and you yourself (welcoming). So if you’re only popping in to a place for 6 months…is that really wanting or asking or seeking to “fit in”? Food for thought.

Thank you, you have given me much to think about
