A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of

Hi All,

Looking for a Course of Yoga that I could do without the help of a teacher (there’s no Yoga Center nor good teacher where I live) someone mentioned a book titled A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of Yoga and Kriya by Swami Satyananda; I did some searching on the net and found that it’s said about the book:

?A comprehensive text (almost 1000 pages, hardback, well bound) which included 36 structured and systematic lessons. (Takes three years to complete at one lesson per month). Includes daily practices and lessons on the different branches of yoga including hatha, raja, mantra, karma, bhakti, jnana and kriya.?

It actually looks good but I’m sick of buying so-called ‘good books’ and, as this one is quite expensive, I’d like to be sure first of all…

I’d like to know if someone has this book, practiced acording to it, etc.

Is is really that good for a beginner in Yoga?

Could anybody tell here their experience when practising according to the teachings of the book?

Thanks in Advance,
Joe.

FYI - Mukunda is an experienced teacher of Tantra. He has a self study course available:

“The lessons cover 18 topics to be done at your own pace. The first four focus on learning how to direct your attention so that prana can be a healing force. The lessons are quite effective when applied with regular discipline. They are available to anyone just by asking via email – yogimukunda@comcast.net namaste Mukunda”

I have a series of 18 lessons you can subscribe to for free by going to my website then signing up for my email list. www.yogatherapycenter.org The lessons start with finding the prana, then developing that relationship into one of trusting your own energy, into spiritual initiations, shaktipat, and Tantrik sadhanas. blessings. namaste mukunda
