I am looking for great Yoga videos to resell. I am a successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in product launch. I have studied successful product launch of very successful companies such as Apple, Google and others. I have a unique domain name for Yoga and meditation and my passion is yoga and meditation. I grew up in the neighborhood where Swami Paramahansa Yogananda who wrote “Autobiography of a yogi” was born.

I am looking for great Yoga videos to resell through my great product launch techniques that comprise of direct marketing, online marketing, social media marketing and others. This is a huge opportunity for people who have great Yoga videos but do not have the knowledge or the money to sell thousands of copies to the masses.

This is a serious opportunity to slap your competition and I want to team up with a very serious partner. If this becomes successful (I have every reason to believe this will be), I have a budget lined up for a huge business related to Yoga and meditation.

You’re a successful silicon valley entrepreneur that, after 10 years of experience, has yet to figure out that making your first post on a community forum be regarding a commercial enterprise may not be well received? I know that Google and Apple tend to spam us a lot, so I assume that’s where you got the idea.

I, for one, am impressed. A guru indeed! Where do I sign up so I can “slap my competition around.” When we start distributing videos, can we go around spamming forums about it? That would be so awesome.

Thank you for your sarcastic remarks. I posted my linkdin reference here to tell the forum members whether I am a genuine person or a spammer. I asked people to check my credentials in Linkedin before even thinking of sending me a reply. It seems to me that you thought I am a spammer. In a way you may be right because there are zillions of spammers out there and I do not blame you. I wanted to find out who has great yoga videos and with whom I can partner up. I did not post or mention any web sites that have affiliate links to spam for cheap easy dollars. Please check again. I am doing this for my passion for meditation that I am practicing for twenty years and I think I am still a student.

Please read my post again. I specifically said that I will invest the money and I never said that I will take money from the DVD producer. I indicated my interest to become a reseller of Yoga video producers.

Where is the spam message here? My company is A+ rated company rated by the Better Business Bureau of Silicon Valley. Want to know more about it then please contact me and I will send you all the details of my company and the information that you can verify with BBB.

I am going to launch a great site called yogaandmind. You can check who is the owner of this domain through whois.

This is no commercial posting and if you find offensive then you can remove the posting. Since you own the forum, I cannot do anything about it and I will silently leave the forum.

I am looking for a partner who has great yoga videos and I never asked for money or posted any affiliation link info here and I am not an affiliate marketer.

How is it not a commercial posting? You’re trying to make money. The people who link to viagra websites are trying to make money too. Would you walk into a yoga studio and announce, “Hey, I need yoga videos” without first talking to the manager or owner? Of course not, yet you do it here in our virtual yoga studio.

Your post is spam, plain and simple. Normally I would just remove it but you claim to have so much experience that you’re a “product management guru” and yet spam up a forum with a commercial request with your first post. The hilariousness of it was too much to pass up.

I interact with spammers such as yourself on occasion. While I am in your face when I do it initially and could admittedly be much nicer, the end goal is to give the person a choice:

  1. Have you understand my perspective and learn from your mistake. If you promise to not do something like this in the future and simply contact the website owner/admin/mod first, then I’ll remove the post and we’ll chalk it up to a learning experience. We all make mistakes and are learning, no big deal :slight_smile:

Or…

  1. I can leave your post so that anytime someone searches the internet for your name and/or company, this thread comes up.

You really made me laugh and I thought I was dealing with an emotionally mature person who practices yoga. You think your little remark about me will destroy the solid reputation about me that I have built with hard work over a decade. People who are reading this thread are really seriously laughing aloud.

I opted out of this forum and this is my last posting. Unfortunately I too have only limited 24 hours that GOD allocated to every living species on this earth. I do not have time to get involved into a childish debate with you.

You can post anything you like here and I am not perturbed by this.

I am admittedly quite immature, in large part because I find being immature to be quite fun.

Anyway, if you change your mind, feel free to contact me and I’ll remove the thread. And you’re of course welcome to go to our support forum and read the stickies which will explain how to take part in our forum. At that point, you’re welcome to contribute to our community with a link to your website in your signature. And the funny thing is, if you were to contribute meaningfully to this forum, you’d get exponentially more business that way than by spamming.
