An "aha" moment

yesterday when reading i figured out that the point of yoga is to breath, which I had known before, but the point of the exercises is to release the blocks and tensions in the muscles so the breath can go in there and heal. The point of doing cleansing techniques is to make it to where you have no buildup, so that part of the body can breath. I know it is very simplistic and most probably understand it already, but it was nice for me when I understood the point of it

That’s actually really cool.

Dear Tubeseeker,
Thank you for sharing your sweet experience with all of us. I really felt it. To me, these insights are true yoga, are true union…sweet and spontaneous. On hearing the same messages repeatedly, I like to think of it as distilling our lessons until we are immersed in the pure sweetness of Truth.

If I may build on what you shared: Mukunda reminds me–and all of his students–to cultivate friendliness toward these feelings and insights. With this welcoming, more insights will come and we will have the opportunity to know what we’ve “known before” (to use your language) on a deeper level and in our subtle bodies. These experiences are 4th kosha experiences, not mind, just wisdom.

When I read your post, I felt the sweetness of your experience and had the insight that “the point of yoga is to build prana…to build and sustain prana…” Thank you for the reminder!

Many blessings,

That’s beauty-full…I love those insights, it’s like the heart opening more, sometimes the insights bring tears along for the ride. I feel the deep breath in asana and pranayam moving to the areas that are blocked, and waking those areas up and getting more fresh blood there and more life energy too…it’s so amazing isn’t it!

thanks for the kind words, my ego was concerned that the post may come across as corny or that other people may think “duh, everyone knows that” but I put the ego aside and made the post. Yeah, I am corny, yeah I am realizing the obvious.

Another thought, the word spirit, according to some resources I read, which could always be wrong, but the word spirit from its latin roots means breath. So when we were conceived as humans, not sure of the exact time, the spirit/breath is put into us. then when we pass on from this life the breath/spirit leaves the body.

I have read the new testement 5-10 times and if I read it again with the understanding that the act of breathing is the act of taking in spirit
I would have a whole different idea of many of the meanings of the reading.
I used to think spirit was this illusive supernatural thing. It is supernatural so to speak, but not illusive or uncommon Now I dont feel I have to search for spirit, but learn how to attain more of it but practice.

Dear Tubeseeker,
I think you might appreciate this story. I sent it to everyone in my devout Christian family and it opened a new door of communication for us.
Please enjoy!

Breathing new life into his faith

Blessings,
