Ankle ligament pain

Hi All,
Recently I went for advanced ashtanga class and I think I damaged my ankle ligament in my right foot (ligament that is stretched when e.g. you do full lotus pose). I avoid stretching it, but I feel that its getting bit more painful after each asana practice. Its not very painful in general, from 1 to 10 scale its maybe 1 when I’m walking - but I don’t want to cause additional damage. My question: what is the practice in such case? What is the way to recovery? Avoid practicing asanas until pain is gone? Are there some special treatment methods?

I am having the same sort of feeling with Bikram. I dont remember stretching my ankle, to the point of strain, but it does ache. I think it might be part of the strengthening process, but am unsure. Hmmm x
