Another Sufi Quote

from Muslih-ud-Din Mushrif ibn Abdullah (Sa’adi of Shiraz) (1184-1291)

Jewels and Dust

If a gem falls into the mud it is still valuable.
If dust ascends to heaven, it remains valueless.

What this means to me:

Know what has value in life and hold to it

that’s a strange one.

the soul (jewel) descends on earth into the human body(dust)
cherish the sould, not the body?
just a thought
I am love, I am joy, I am peace, I thank the teachers and I am from the One
I am neil

It is amazing how this thought appears here when I was thinking about the same, jut having a different picture. My picture was: a saint is still a saint in the brothel, and the villain is still a villain in heaven.

Thank you and so true!
