Dear Nichole,
I have some experience of detoxing cleanses. I have done them myself & helped a lot of people through the process.
To do a through cleanse you must consider the vital organs Liver, Kidneys, & The GI Tract (in particular small & large Intestines).
The Liver Cleanse is the most intense experience; I found a lot of intense emotional energy released in this process. Also a significant improvement in overall physical health.
When I did my Liver Flush I found I had flash backs of events that took place a long time ago when I was a teenager (I am over 50 now). These events were “forgotten” but resurfaced with an emotional impact similar to the day it occurred. I found myself crying, there was a definite sense of release & I felt a lot lighter. Today I smile when I think of that – I also readily find joy in most things – I no longer get angry. I did 24 Liver Flush with each LF I found a great cleansing experience (physical & emotional). I think the Liver is linked with the solar-plexus (Muladhar) chakra. Cleansing of the Liver also improved my awareness of this chakra.
Cleansing of the Kidney is a mild process (in comparison) it involves consuming a rather nice tea for a month or so, it is very very effective – you start seeing the difference very quickly.
The GI tract is part of the Liver Flush.
I suffered from a number ailments (including arthritis) all vanished once I cleansed my body with these methods. It really is worth it. Since my own experience I have supported a number of friends (many fit & well) with the Liver Flush & they are hooked!
I used to suffer from a lot of allergies (to food & environment). Most of the allergies are now gone. I am now hooked to Yoga & I am slowly developing a practise!
Nichole, please tell us how you get on with your process, it really helps to acknowledge it & talk about it.
Hope what I have written helps. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you want to know more about the Liver Flush or the other processes. Will be a joy to share.
I wish you well. I think it takes courage to honour your body!
Namaste,
Fin
