Arise and Shine Cleanse

Has anyone here done a detoxifying cleanse? I am doing the Arise and Shine 7-day cleanse currently (fyi, they also have a 28-day cleanse). It is my first time and it has been a bit of roller coaster for me, both emotionally and physically. I have been re-experiencing very potent emotions and thoughts that occurred many years ago in my life. Here is the full experience of these emotions again, but without the context and catalyst. It has been really healing, in that I get to work through them now, with more power than I realized for myself when I was 16. It is has been exceptional, but still as painful and thrilling as it was then. I am spinning slightly. Does anyone have information about food, cleansing, emotions, cellular memory, etc that they can share here? I would appreciate it so much. I will also share more later too.

With my gratitude,

I only have experience with a so called Oshawa diet, based on cereals. (I did a fw times x 10 days only on boiled wheat and rice, salted)
This was 13 years ago, and I only recall my consciusness being turned inward. I have always been introverted, but it still was noticable. Who am I ?

Looking back, I realize I was doing it because I was seeking something, something special. I know now that I did find it, just I was not aware of it, and it was finding myself. My ego grew stronger, I was a very young man and I felt the need to differentiate myself from others. I needed this.
We talk here about the ego as if it were Lucifer himself (and they are related, indeed) but we must not forget that a strong ego is something we aquire as we grow up, as tool to be succesful socially. I did learn lately that one cannot let go something one does not have. If you lack something and give it up, that is not renuncitation. First, that thing, object must be withing your grasp, than you can let it go, and take a higher step. False renunciation, forced vairagya is not vairagya at all. The only vairagya comes from discernment, viveka, and this way it really does not require too much effort. Until one is able to discern if a thing is good or not, should be had or not, renouncing is just fear, and means only stagnation.

I am aware you wanted a more specific answer, and I really want to hear the details of your experience. This cleansing thing is really interesting, I would gladly learn more about it.

Dear Nichole,

I have some experience of detoxing cleanses. I have done them myself & helped a lot of people through the process.
To do a through cleanse you must consider the vital organs Liver, Kidneys, & The GI Tract (in particular small & large Intestines).

The Liver Cleanse is the most intense experience; I found a lot of intense emotional energy released in this process. Also a significant improvement in overall physical health.

When I did my Liver Flush I found I had flash backs of events that took place a long time ago when I was a teenager (I am over 50 now). These events were “forgotten” but resurfaced with an emotional impact similar to the day it occurred. I found myself crying, there was a definite sense of release & I felt a lot lighter. Today I smile when I think of that – I also readily find joy in most things – I no longer get angry. I did 24 Liver Flush with each LF I found a great cleansing experience (physical & emotional). I think the Liver is linked with the solar-plexus (Muladhar) chakra. Cleansing of the Liver also improved my awareness of this chakra.

Cleansing of the Kidney is a mild process (in comparison) it involves consuming a rather nice tea for a month or so, it is very very effective – you start seeing the difference very quickly.

The GI tract is part of the Liver Flush.

I suffered from a number ailments (including arthritis) all vanished once I cleansed my body with these methods. It really is worth it. Since my own experience I have supported a number of friends (many fit & well) with the Liver Flush & they are hooked!

I used to suffer from a lot of allergies (to food & environment). Most of the allergies are now gone. I am now hooked to Yoga & I am slowly developing a practise!

Nichole, please tell us how you get on with your process, it really helps to acknowledge it & talk about it.
Hope what I have written helps. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you want to know more about the Liver Flush or the other processes. Will be a joy to share.

I wish you well. I think it takes courage to honour your body!

Namaste,
Fin

Can you give more information on the 7 day cleanse>?

Here is the website for the cleanse products: Arise & Shine Herbal Products
This is the website for the man who created these cleanses: cleanse.net

These products are more expensive than self-created cleanses and those that you purchase as a package in the health markets, but a colleague of mine studied with and worked for Dr. Anderson and knows his products. She said that his research is solid and his ingredients are organically sourced and of the highest quality. She also said he is a good man and that means a lot to me when I am buying herbs, food, whatever.

To Fin and Hubert:
Thank you so much for your replies. They were really supportive, which I needed that day. Today is day 6 and I am feeling wonderful. I will certainly share more later.

Love

I have wanted to do a cleanse for sometime now. However gun shy of doing so. Do not want to be in a meeting or driving to work when like a atom bomb hits my digestive system.
