Is there anyone knows how to do "Arms elbow forward rotation"
i mean…really. how to rotate my arm in forth and back direction?
Hello Conanyx,
Could you please be a little bit more specific? In what pose would you like to move your arms? My guess is that you are asking about downward facing dog and that someone has told you to move the “eyes of your elbows” forward. It that so? This would require quite some explanation, because we have to talk about alignment of the shoulder blades.
If you are simply asking about moving your upper arms in the shoulder joint, please have a look at the joint freeing series. Movement JFS-14 is about shoulder rotation. Your “arms/elbows forward rotation” corresponds to shoulder external (lateral) rotation. JFS-14 with the hands facing up. You can also do this with straight elbows, provided that you move from the shoulders. Let me explain the terminology: the joint is the shoulder. The upper arm movement is rotation. So shoulder external rotation or shoulder lateral rotation.

I, for one, am very relieved you’ve found an answer that meets your needs. Thank you Willem.
Dear Conanyx, I do hope that you like IB teachers! I’m not one though. But I did have to use telepathy to figure out what it was that you were asking.
Thank you too Inner Athlete.
