Back into Yoga

I have not done any yoga since October last year. I had so much going on in my life, I gave up any practice. I did however join the Gym which I found helped me release some of the tensions. Yesterday was the first time I did some yoga. Ten minutes of gentle strecthes. I did 10 minutes this morning. I was very disappointed at how much I could actually do. I used to do an hour every day. With a continued routine of 10 minutes everyday will this help me get back that flexibility.
