Bad yoga experience...gentle nudge in another direction

I wish to warn everyone about Knoff Yoga. My experience in an intermediate teacher training course with them has been very upsetting and disillusioning. Nicky Knoff seems to be highly hypocritical and I would suggest has strayed far from her initial intentions in yoga. Her and husband James Bryan have been proven to have made false claims in their advertising and teacher training manual. They are currently being investigated by Office of Fair Trade Queensland, Australia. I am a registered yoga teacher already and my first
teacher training course was a wonderful experience. Avoid Knoff Yoga at
all costs! They are not what yoga should be about and their are so many
other wonderful options out there for training!

One challenge that does face us is that people who are not enlightened make up a new style and say “this is the path” From my understanding the true purpose of Yoga is to unite us with the divine, to get through the layers of unreal self and to step into the reality and uinity of what is. If anyone has studied golf, yoga and it are much the same. In golf you have instructors teaching who know a lot about “it”, but knowing about it does not mean you know “it”. Not saying these people are right and wrong, just acknowledging the challenge. If your search is truly from your heart, fear not for the teachers will be placed in front of you. Maybe the lessson you learn from this experience is to be cautious of your intentions when teaching, for what can start from loving heart can lead to greedy mind. We just be aware and do our best.
my best to you
