Beginner Yoga?

I’m new to Yoga. I guess you can say I’m a Yoga virgin. I’m extremely interested in it for a couple reason. I am a Army Disabled Veteran and sometimes get stressed quite easy, have back pain, and have gained weight. I have heard wonderful things about Yoga from other service members and veterans.

My question is… As a beginner, where do I start? What type of yoga or program would work best? I’m looking to start off with a Yoga DVD series so when I get up in the morning I can get right to it before work. Also it wouldn’t kill me to do it later that night to possibly help me relax.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Geek, here is a great inspiring video about ADV who got his life back through yoga https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX9FSZJu448

I do not trust Dallas Page yoga though, but you should try yoga therapy and you will feel better in just few sessions!
