My question was, how the difference between two produce different psyiological benefits ?

Bhastrika increases the metabolic rate, removing toxins due to the rapid exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in bloodstream. Good for those with asthma and reduces phlegm. Good prep for meditation. Balances and strengthens the CNS. Creates feeling of peace and calm.

Kapalbhati is more energizing. Similar to bhastrika as far as good for asthmatics. Also balances the CNS and is good for digestion. Purifies ida and pingala.

Layman, this was taken from “Asana Pranayama Mudra and Bandha” by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Many of the things you have asked about in this and other posts you would find in this book. I think you can order it through Amazon.com Just FYI if you’re interested.
