Bunion pain

Are there any exercises which would help bunion pain? - I

have a bunion on my right foot - hereditary - I have never worn tight shoes

or high heels, but the structure of the foot is getting worse, and it has

become painful whenever I walk for any length of time. I would like to avoid

surgery if possible. O

I have had the same trouble myself about 2 years ago. I decided that I
saw it as a similar formation to arthritis bone spurs due to my predominant
pitta Ayurvedic constitution. So I did the 10 day arthritis diet my teacher
Indra Devi recommended and on the third day the pain of the growth subsided
dramatically and by the last day it had shrunk down to nothing. Today it
remains gone though occasionally it is tender and when I remember the
ongoing diet of doing anti pitta foods from Ayurvedic guidelines the
problems disappear. The diet is 90% rice and 10% squash for details go to
my archive Q & A site - www.yogaforums.com <http://www.yogaforums.com/> and
search for arthritis diet. About 30 sharing sessions will pop up under
arthritis but only one has arthritis diet complete notes of 2 pages from me.
Blessings.
