Well not quite, but I spend 2 & a half hours a day on a bus going to and from work, and find that my lower back and/or neck can sometimes ache, be painful or tense, along with sometimes (but not often) nerve-type feelings in my legs.
I’m 6ft5 and the seats tend to be designed for people smaller than me, so sometimes I can mould into them and sometimes the headrest is against my shoulders which means I’m all out of alignment.
So, if anyone can help,
a) what stretches and postures can I do to alleviate any of this (either during or after the journey), and
b) how should I be sitting on these seats? Using the backrest, not using the backrest, raising my head up to stretch my spine, being as relaxed as possible even if it means my back is curved…
I’ve done a bit of yoga in the past, but am not a regular by any means.
Great site, thanks for any help you can give,
