Hello fellow students,
Its such a pity that this section is no longer used. I have a question about Table 6 in Mukunda’s book on Yoga Therapy. (I have the Dutch edition, which unfortunately does contain other errors in the tables.)
This table shows asanas that can be used to bring about postural change. Under forward head it gives cobra, triangle and camel. I can understand the first two - they strengthen the upper traps and stretch the SCM. The way I do camel - head in line with the trunk - it is more a strengthening exercise for the SCM than a posture that stretches the SCM. Or does camel have to be modified into more of a neck backbend to make is effective for dealing with forward head. What do you SYT students/graduates feel about this?
Thank you.
