i am doing research work in university, but i find it is difficult to me to focued on theroy works, i just like industral technologies, that is quite different from theory, but if i want to graduate i have to focused on theory, how to realize this? can yoga help?
Yes…Yoga can help…!!
At least in my case, it has helped me.
I was working in software industry and used to practice Yoga Asanas. I used to be very effective in whatever work I was doing.
One can start with Asanas and Pranayama and can later go ahead with the rest of Yoga based techniques.
Asanas and Pranayam will make a person to focus and more effective. I am a big fan of Sarvangaasana.
I am currently studying on theoretical aspects of Computer Science. Before that I was working in Software Industry.
You bet!
I used to teach yoga at a local community college, and I asked the students to journal about the effects yoga is having on their daily lives. A majority of them noticed (without my prompting) that they were able to focus better in class, stay alert, stay calm during tests, and stay awake while doing homework. Most of these results, they observed, was from learning basic diaphragmatic breathing and learning how to control their autonomic nervous system. That was an immediate effect, so I would start there. Meditation also helps train the brain to remain focused by shifting brain wave patterns, but that takes a while to get the hang of. Good luck to you with your endeavors…I hope this helps.
Yes…yoga can help to enhance concentration, ensure better memory encoding and academic achievement. Start with practice of simple and powerful Yoga methods like asanas (with improving your posture); pranayamas such as three step breathing exercise, equalized breathing exercise, alternate breathing with ratio of 1:2 or 1:1/2:2 or 1:1:2; hasta mudras as Gyan Mudra or Vayu Mudra and; short meditation. In order to obtain the best results, learn recommended Yoga methods under guidance and supervision of an experienced Yoga teacher for 2 to 5 sessions.
