I have a student that just had cancer surrounding the tissues in the eye (right eye) and had surgery. What would be a good practice for her? I was thinking of pranayama and meditation. Any other suggestions?
In general for cancer encourage the 6 Shatkarma Kriyas, purifying practices, and cleansing diets, especially increasing organic and raw foods, but only if you have experience with them. If not then any form of energy enhancing practices you regularly do yourself. Prayer and her spiritual practices are to be encouraged but specific instructions in that regard are left to her spiritual mentor or guide.
