Chakra and/in Yoga Nidra?

I’m new to meditation and a form of meditation that I like is Yoga Nidra. I do Yoga Nidra daily. Oftens before sleeping about 30 min. I have two apps that guides me. Somtimes I find some Nidra om Youtube. Today I listen to Yoga Nidra meditation on the Spotify. It was Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati who guided. There were a part of guidance on chakras with breathing. I did that part but I was a little bit afraid. I have read that chakra meditation can lead to Kundalini awakening.
So the question is can it be dangerous and cause Kundalini awakening symptoms?

Sorry for my english!

This is a question best posed to the teacher you’ve selected. Swamiji has a very carefully authored page on Nidra. He has clearly pointed out the difference between the mental states that are (and are not) Nidra. And while there’s no discourse there about chakra meditations he, as a source, seems on point.

That having been said, for my practice a meditation on chakras would not be something I’d be interested in unless I’ve cultivated a strong relationship with the teacher. That would include contact hours, and result in my confidence in their guidance. But that is how I choose to pursue MY practice and you may choose some other paths, as you see fit.

Certainly a raising of true kundalini is not something to be trifled with so it’s prudent of you to make such an inquiry.
