From the same guy:-
“yes you go to your studios and do your physical exercises but the bottom line is it’s all spiritual”
and he says he alot of things yyou will invaribaly come to similar conclusion over once you delve deep enough into the full practice of yoga and have been doing it long enough. yes most folk start off with asanas but asanas are undoubtedly “spiritual” if we take the spiritual to mean something more than just purely physical ,the seen and so on.
the number of times you hear folk say they go to their sutdios and do the exercises but the spiritual side doe not interest them, weel iff that is the case goin by my definition, not to pick at definitions, then they’ve not really grasped or accepted what is going on.It’s seems like a spiritual naivety or immaturity perhaps of sorts. a lack of understanding or feeling comfortable about it. what is one true self? well sometimes that can be challenging finding out. we have to tear away lot of our own routine self-deceptions spiringing from ego, mind and s o on. not that i completely understand vedanata or all of it or my own inner demons but the process continues and it goes on and on and on ,whether we like it or not, felliing comfortable with it, finding out etc exploring…
