Charisma

Have you notices some people who are so attractive, magnetic and charismatic? There are people that you just always want to look at, listen to and be with.
Are there any practices we can do to increase charisma and magnetism?

Interesting post. Had no time to research. Following

Are there any practices we can do to increase charisma and magnetism?

No because any practice with intention of charisma and magnetism will result nothing. People who are charismatic are charismatic because they never intended to be charismatic.

I highly recommend this book. http://www.amazon.com/The-Charisma-Myth-Personal-Magnetism/dp/1591845947

Charisma, in itself, is a neutral attribute. It only becomes problematic when it is used for selfish reasons.

Q:How do you think psychopaths and mass-murderers get away with their evil deeds for so long? A: charisma.

Be careful what you wish for.

Psychopaths and mass-murderers “get away” with their crimes, if they do at all, for a vast variety of reasons. Honestly, in most cases, I don’t believe charisma has anything to do with it at all. Not sure what you mean, but I think your reply is pretty far off the mark.

I think what YogaPrem was meaning were people like Ted Bundy who was reputed to be very charming and personable. Not sure though that you can say charisma = psychopath. And I have never heard of any poses that would create charisma.
However, for myself, when I am truly interested in people and concerned for them I find that they respond very warmly and friendly to me. If you can call that charisma I’d try that. But you must honestly and truthfully be interested in people. Faking it will not do.

Yes Chad there likely are. I don’t know what they are specifically and obviously they would not be part of the intended by-product of classical yoga. Perhaps the question might be better offered on a self-help forum or a marketing forum?
