I find in the summertime I dont really like a hot shower, but was rather used to it. Now usually once I get wet I turn it to cold.
personally my favorite is a rain shower during the heat of the day or in the evening.

Are you absolutely mad! It is winter in South Africa and with a min of 0?C and a max of 12?C I would rather opt for a hot shower today.

But usually I find a colder shower refreshing in summer and it saves electricity.

well since its winter there, Ill send you a dollar if you take a pic of yourself standing in the rain  I might have to try it once when it is really cold and rainy

Sorry Brother Neil, no chance of that, not because I don’t want to, but because I live in a summer rainfall area, we don’t see rain in winter!

Hello, everyone !
I take cold showers almost every morning before doing Surya Namaskar. These tone up wonderfully. Its very hot in my city now - above 30 degrees C, so i may take it anytime to refresh body. Vivekananda wrote that cold shower without any soap ) protects from sweating best of all. However, we have cold winters here, and sometimes its really hard in the morning not to turn hot water instead of cold

Greetings! You live in beautiful city!

Cold shower is good for the brains and the body! Love it in summer!

I start my showers warm, but at the end of the shower I turn it to cold before I rinse out my hair and rinse off everything else. Gives me a good jolt and is good for the skin and hair folicles (sp?)

here around stockholm is really hot this week! it was a record this weekend with over 35 degrees! My apartment is 31 degrees now at 21:50 just before bedtime :frowning: I’m gonna have a quite cold shower soon so I can sleep…

Thanks a lot! Your state is a great place too.
I`ve just read more about it and was surprised with following fact.
