Kalani Oceanside Retreat is a 501©(3) educational non-profit dedicated to yoga, personal growth, art, sustainable living, and performing arts, as well as the preservation of Hawaiian culture and three ancient Hawaiian sites.
Our large and beautiful retreat facilities are on the wild coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, a spectacular location with the cleanest air on the entire planet. Shiva Rea calls Kalani ?one of the most powerful places in the world;? Baron Baptiste goes on to call this place ?a magical place to find yourself.?
We are presently looking for people with the following skills:
- Experienced kitchen staff (including special subsidies available for experienced chefs)
- Construction
- Electricians/Plumbers
- Housekeeping
We invite you to commit to one, two, or (preferably) three months in paradise! A kind, gentle and open spirit is the right match with the values of our organization. We embrace diversity, and celebrate one of the most unusual LGBT communities in the world here in the surrounding area.
Through our regular program you would work 4 shifts per week (a maximum of 30 hours weekly) - giving you three days off per week to enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. You will be provided with three healthy meals a day (everyone loves our food!), local trips and tours, and access to over 40 classes and special events a week. We subsidize simple affordable accommodations, and we also provide substantial discounts on wellness treatments and workshops/retreats held at our facilities.
Most people find that very little money is needed to enjoy an exceptionally high quality of life here - and many people stay.
