Corporate world: Help needed!

I am in agreement with bitooli. I joined my new job in less pay but near to home so that i can devote some time on Yoga. Yes moneywise it is less but this is the way things work unless you are borne with golden spoon.
The secret of the Yogis is that even if you put them in a prison they will still be able to turn it into a joyous occasion. Everything can be turned into a joy. The secret is simple cultivate happines from within by connecting to the Self or Christ within, this way your happiness will not depend on your circumstances, but will emanate naturally from your being.

How that is done? It is done through the practice of the Yamas and Niyamas and of those the most important are detachment and mindfulness. In the Gita Krishna mentions selfless action nishkama karma it is action not motivated by the goal, but by the process itself. Whatever you do, turn it into a meditation, even if it is something as simple as washing the dishes. Allow yourself to become completely immersed in the process - connect with it - and then you will lose yourself in your task. There will be no time to think and even time itself will disappear. Then when you end you will wonder where did time go.
Excellent Surya Deva.

Do you realize how close you came to saying something, and didn’t say it? Losing yourself in the task IS dhyana! It is a mis-conception that dharana, dhyana and samadhi are states to be reached with eyes closed and sitting cross-legged. True yogis reach them with eyes wide open, while doing daily chores. This is the way, all life becomes Yoga. Hope you agree.
