Csection & Abs/Stomach

What poses are good for toning the stomach area after a Csection? I am very petite and naturally thin. (5’3 & about 100 lbs. The area isnt bad but I wish for an even tighter stomach/abs area. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum!
How long has it been since your c-section? Did your recovery go well? Are you otherwise healthy? Sleeping well? Eating well? Soreness, pain, weakness or tension anywhere in the body that you are aware of?

And how long do you have for a yoga practice during the day?

I believe that 6 weeks has passed since you have gone through surgical intervention. If it is so, you can start with as:
First one to two weeks:
Moola Bandha (Anal Lock), Uddyana Bandha (Abdominal Lock), Ardha Pawan Muktasana (Half wind releasing pose), Poorna Pawan Muktasana (Full wind releasing pose), Markatasan (Spinal Twist) or Marichyasana and Ek Padauttanasana (one leg raise pose).
After 2 weeks, asnas that can be added are:
Prasarita Padottanasan (leg spreaded forward extension pose), Ek padachakrasana (one leg rotation-lying on back), Poorna Uttanapadasan (two leg raise pose), Navasana (lying on back-boat pose), Adho Mukha Vyaghrasan (tiger pose face down) and Shashankasana (rabit pose), etc.

hm…i bet you also have some scar tissue that hurts…some stretching like cobra - like poses would be beneficial…i found yoga to be extremely difficult after pregnancy:) but practice makes it better:) the pose above has some good poses to start with

Easy answer… do ashtanga, a whole lot of forward folding to melt all that abdominal fat.
