Dipping my toes in

Hello, I have visited this community a few times now, and decided to join. I offer the freshness of inexperience and the wonder of a child peering into a large plate window, which recently has become permeable. I’ve been practicing yoga for 6 months or so, but use to practice on my own with a small book by Richard Hittelman when I was a far younger person. I feel drawn to my Jivamukti class, but dip and dabble in workshops and other classes. Falling has taught me to let go. lol

There are no preconceptions on my part as far as where I will go or what I will become. I am simply amazed by the discoveries that unfold before me each day. Oddly, I hope never to lose this delight, especially as I learn more. My spiritual journey has been “varied” and sadly, often the more I discovered about a certain path, the less I wanted to follow. So, I walk on and find myself here, hopefully to learn and perhaps share some of my own experiences.

Peaceful intentions to all.

Good morning, zimarme! Welcome to the forums!
I also own a small book by Richard Hittelman; I’ll have to send you it’s title and compare notes.

Good Morning to you, Techne.

Thank you for the response. It is easy to see there is a very diverse level of experience represented in this community. I’m very excited about that.

As for the book, it is so cool you are familiar with it. I lost it a few years back in a move, but I still remember it clearly. Small, paperback, with an asana a day format. The photos were black and white, but it was enough at the time. That was many years ago, and if you would send me the title, I just might try to seach it on alibris to get it.

Funny how those little points in your life can become so significant later.

If you get a chance, I would love to get the title from you.
Thanks, and have a wonderful day, even though you probably haven’t greeted it yet as I write this.
