Energy blockage

There are various reasons for energy blockage :

  1. Inadequate sleep.
  2. Going back to sleep after meditation.
  3. Lots of thinking or plenty of thoughts flowing in the mind.
  4. Bad food habits.

According to my experience these four are the main reasons for energy blockage.If I would like to do a quality meditation then I woud follow certain steps :

  1. A very good sleep which makes my body and mind feel very light and stress free.
  2. Proper food digestion and a clean stomach.
  3. Shower followed by very light snack with small liquid.
  4. Pranayama followed by meditation.
    Pranayama which should be like closing the eyes and inhaling and exhaling of breath slowly.Inhaling from one nostril and exhaling from the other nostril for few times and then start with the respective meditation.
  5. No meditation near to bed times.

Earlier I experienced blockage but now I don’t.

It seems to make sense, and I agree with all the requirements - but what are the symptoms of energy blockage ? How one becomes aware of it ? What energy ? Do you mean prana, and it’s free flow through various nadis ? Is meditation bringing awarness to prana flow ? Is prana flow separated from mind activity ? Does meditation adress mental activities, vital activities, both - if these are different -, or more ?

I am not interetsed in any theoretical or scholastic answer, but personal expereinces, if these are of the nature to be shared through this media. The questions are adressed to all.

this book is based on Nithyananda’s own experiences. now he teaches this as workshops all over the world. these energy blocks in the chakras can be removed through meditations. his main meditation technique is the nithya dhyaan meditation (life bliss meditation) which i have practiced daily for almost 3 years now. through chaotic breathing, humming, visualization, and unclutching we affect our pranamaya kosha, manomaya kosha, vijnanamaya kosha. once these koshas are cleansed to some extent (samskaras/engraved memories removed), bliss comes through from the anandamaya kosha. i can tell you from my own experience, it works beautifully :slight_smile:

so [B]the solution to energy blocks is meditation[/B]. best to play around with different techniques to find the right one for yourself or jump in and follow what an enlightened master tells you from his own experience. this is what i did…

once someone reaches a certain state they can supposedly digest most anything. so is the energy blockage what we eat, is it what we think about what we eat? what must we do to be able to do what the “enlightened” do. I appreciate that practices help us go deeper within to find that something that is within. But that something within is always there, so do we go in, or let it come out?

the energy blocks are from your negative emotions like fear, greed, worry, discontentment (depression), etc.

the enlightened ones have gone thru struggles just like we do. they were not always enlightened.

what you need to do to be able to do what the enlightened ones do is meditate, tapas, and spiritual practice, again and again until the goal is reached. enjoy the journey :slight_smile:

To go further with with “energy blockage”, I would like to request my fellow members to please make me understand, what is an “energy” and a “blockage” in a human body.Secondly “blockage of what”, prana or the energy.Thirdly if blocking, what is blocking.

If the blockage is removed, then which factors (energy or prana) will facilitate towards the path of enlightenment. Is prana and soul the same with two different names.

i have thyroid problems, is that a form of energy blockage in the throat chakra? what can i do to clear this energy block? i’m currently practising iyengar style yoga, it is very therapeutic for me.
