Food Matters

Has anyone seen this movie? Any opinions on it?

I just saw it and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I’m definitely taking a step back and further evaluating my eating habits.

For those who want a little more info on the movie (from IMDB):

“Let Thy Food Be Thy Medicine, And Thy Medicine Be Thy Food.” - Hippocrates That is the message from the founding father of modern medicine echoed in this brave new documentary film brought to you by Producer-Directors James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch. ‘Food Matters’ is a hard hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and every day maladies. Patching up an over-toxic and over-indulgent population with a host of toxic therapies and nutrient sparse foods is definitely not helping the situation. In a personal quest of discovery James & Laurentine together with a film crew and the editorial and production expertise of Enzo Tedeschi have set out on an independent mission to uncover the wholesome truth. The filmmakers have interviewed several world leaders in nutrition and natural healing who claim that not only are we harming our bodies with improper nutrition, but that the right kind of foods, supplements and detoxification can be used to treat chronic illnesses as fatal as terminally diagnosed cancer.

Food Matters seeks to uncover the business of disease and at the same time explore the safe, cheap and effective use of nutrition and supplementation for preventing and often reversing the underlying causative aspects of the illness. With the premise of the film being: access to solid information helps people invariably make better choices for their health. The ‘Food Matters’ duo have independently funded the film from start to finish in order to remain as unbiased as possible, delivering a clear and concise message to the world. Food Matters.

This means a huge deal to me David…“Food Matters” I’ll see if I can track it down. Thanks for the post!
I can only find a Title as described released in 2008…is this correct?

Here is the link to the IMDB review of it.

Interesting. I think I will add it to my queue for Netflicks. Our family watched Supersize Me and after that we went from eating it once or twice a week to less than once per month…It is now just gross to even consider it an option if we are eating out.

Thanks TeeA,

I’ve actually seen this before & whole heatedly agree 100% with the message. Whilst others may consider some of the presenters NEW AGE, I could not disagree more. These people have been around for eons trying to get their message out…it’s only because the Big Shots AND those in denial refuse to believe that the presenters are written off as crack pots.

This video changed my life & now plays a huge part in my new healthy living. I use to have a host of ailments all but gone since adopting the same attitudes presented in the documentary.

I don’t really have time now to fully give it the praise it deserves…all I can say…is do yourselves a favor and watch it. I simply goggled it and was watching it 20 minutes later. Well worth the search…if you can spare the money simply download it at the link above or simply check out the site to see the preview.

It’s a good movie.

It was a nice experience watching this movie. Food really matters in our daily life and the message was very effectively delivered in this movie that the food you eat does MATTER.

Great movie. Netflix has a lot of related films available. Whole foods all the way, the more raw the better.

Check out “Botany of Desire” for a very informative history on the evolution and spread of some very interesting plants…apples, tulips, potatoes, and cannabis.

I’m totally on board with the message.

Certain foods contain certain phytonutrients that we are just beginning to understand.

I like the title, food matters. Duh!

Yogies of the yore been shouting this from roof tops fr0m centuries.

There is no spiritual progress as a soul without an advanced body vibration as well. It’s impossible to have a diet of red meat and alcohol and meditate and progress as soul … The best explanation of food impact on spiritual progress I found in this post. It gives you also a food vibration chart with the impact of different food categories on your body vibration

Nope, I have never seen it, but I already want. I wish I have changed my food habits, but I need to start with some motivating content. Moreover, I even saved nutscom phone number to start eating healthy, seems like these guys provide with relevant food products.
