Hi all,
I’ve been experiencing some intense foot and calf cramping during my practice. It always occurs during prone backbending, but most recently I’ve been experiencing it while taking urdhva much svanasana. Yes, I’m well hydrated. Yes, I have enough potassium (may be slightly deficient in magnesium) however, I think it may be related to my hips or IT bands. The cramping in my calf primarily happens during urdhva mukha paschimottanasana.
Any insight on this theory? Thanks in advance.
