In warrior 2 you press into the outside (pinky toe edge) of the rear foot. I was wondering what edge you push into in warrior 1. I always hear instructor say push into the “knife edge of the foot” in warrior 1 but am unsure which part of the foot to press into. Is the rear foot pressure the same in warrior 1 as warrior 2?
Generally, in standing poses, the four corners of the feet are rooted and the big arch is recoiled or lifted. This applies to Vira I and Vira II.
I like the term sword edge as a reference to the foot and knife edge ,as a reference to to the edge of the hand
Don’t forget the importance of the big toe imho
