I hope I am not being too self-indulgent in posting this in a new thread. Some of you have asked about handstands, freestanding or not. Here is how I do it. This one is in pike position and (POV) point of view is from the floor looking up to the ceiling.
The key is to fully exhale before pressing up as you get as high up on your toes as possible, and allowing the head to hang down relaxed, instead of looking at the floor (focus on the horizon instead). Then press into the floor and shift your weight and balance and the legs will rise up with inhalation.
