Anyone got some funny photos? This is me entertaining the boys and girls on my Sunday bike training. Note that no one is watching when the photo was taken so they made me do it again and concrete is harder than yoga mats
Much love to you for doing salamba sirsasana with no yoga mat! Great picture! Thank you for sharing.

No one responded “your legs are suppose to be together” ha ha.
They said they were going to put the picture on the bike club forum.
So, I’m going to do a shameless plug here for a forum functionality. Each of us with a login also has space to create a photo album. I encourage everyone who is willing to share such inspiring yoga pics with the whole community, whether via an album or via a thread.
Thanks for sharing - great shot - concrete…ouch
Do this in every one of your travels, and yours will be the best coffee table photo album…
Thank you for sharing.
Your elbows are, based on these photos, consistently too wide for your body. Closer together please on set up.

Thanks Gordon, I got it reviewed this morning as I know I was using the correct process to setup the elbows, but I suspected the problem was the length of my arms. Solution was to twist my hands around my elbows when setting up the distance, so to compensate for the extra length of my arms.
Made some other improvements;
- shoulders
- how I put my legs up
- body is straighter
- something to do with my feet
- more graceful on the return to earth
I’m now thinking of the other head stand.
Two heads are better than one.
Couldn’t find the name of the other headstand

thanks for share
The headstand in the pictures is “Salamba Sirsasana” I think
Salamba - with support
Sirsa - head
I understand that’s the term used when using your elbows to support you.
What would it be called when you are using your hands for support?
In English terms, I’ve heard it called the ‘tripod headstand’. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sanskrit designation for it specifically.
