Staying put you avoid the meds.
“If you are earnest, you don’t need moving about. You are yourself wherever you are and you create your own climate. Locomotion and transportation will not give you salvation. You are not the body and dragging the body from place to place will take you nowhere. Your mind is free to roam the three worlds – make full use of it.” ~Nisargadatta
Thank you ray

Going in October and not planning on shots.
Going in October and not planning on shots.
May join you
Cheers
Will travel to Pondy where I’m guessing all are welcome:-)
What works for me is off-the-counter allergy tablets, taken 3 days prior to travel and continuing for 4 more days in India. Then, only bottled water to drink, metamucil for relief from rich oily food and avoiding dairy products first few days. No shots needed then.
Interesting. I go a slightly different way …
I lean toward Alpha20C to increase the t-cell count and bolster the immune system, Fruit & Vegetable rinse for internal “buggies”, Calli tea to cleanse, and Assimilaid to foster good digestive process - and not a dime goes to big pharma or Proctor & Gamble:-)
Try colostrum. Even Polio vaccine comes from it.
And good for travellers diarrhea.
Loaded with immunoglobins.
Colostrum is usually from a bovine source. And while it’s efficacy is likely documented there is the other side of the coin for vegetarians and the prospect of ingesting who-knows-what from the feeding of the cows in question.
Vaccines I’ll not even get into:-)
Yogis drink milk.
If one is scared from that , one can not buy anything from the supermarket, as who knows if items are labeled as organic for more profit. Or if its GMO but not labeled as it.
Many cheats is going on now a days.
Fear comes from mind. There is many reasons to be afraid , even to walk in the city where the car pollutes. The choice is ours.
Yes you make good points and without argument I’d like to reply because I want to be perfectly clear to all readers.
Not all yogis drink milk. Some avoid cow’s milk. Some drink goats milk instead, within half an hour of milking of course. Further, one could say “yogis live in caves and drag rocks with their genitals”. That doesn’t make it prudent for the forum community to move to the rocks and drag them about.
Second, discernment and fear are not mutually inclusive. It is not wise for us to view a discerning student as a fearful one. It is assumptive. I opt out of (and into) certain things based on being well informed in combination with feeling what is appropriate for me.
I absolutely agree that food from the supermarket needs to be very carefully vetted. And I’d not walk into most supermarkets because of this. The situation with the food supply is quite dire, on that we concur. Where we diverge is that I believe we still do the best we can rather than give up the ship. Make the best decisions you can relative to the information available. That is what I’ll call “uncommon sense” because common sense implies everyone is doing it.
While points about cheats and air pollution are valid they don’tt speak directly to the suggested product. Air is not particularly optional - colostrum is. I’m not against it per se, just adding to the process of mindful choosing. If it works for you then g-d bless you.
Maybe ive should have said indians/hindus are lacto vegetarians. So even if some choose not to drink milk it is still accepted by most indians/hindus.
Goat colostrum also exists.
Cheat and air pollution was an answer to your;who knows what is feeding the cows.

I’m thinking of going to Madras in October also, which means visiting Pondicherry just for the amazing sea breezes. Do you go there to study, IA?
I’ve not yet been. But my intention would not be one of study. It would be one of being around the master’s energy
