Government Funded Research: Yoga and Blood Pressure!

I heard about this wonderful opportunity at Penn that I thought everyone should know about. It is great to see that even the government is realizing how complementary and alternative medicine is becoming an important part of people’s lives and so are investing in further studies:

Is Your Blood Pressure Borderline High?

Would You Like To Try Controlling It Naturally With Lifestyle Changes Such As Nutrition, Walking Or Yoga?

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania are beginning a research study examining the effects of YOGA, WALKING and NUTRITION on lowering BLOOD PRESSURE.

Qualified participants will receive at no cost:
? Study related exams and lab tests
? Study related classes, instruction and materials
? Compensation will be provided for time & effort

If you are NOT currently on blood pressure medication or taking regular yoga classes and over 18 years of age, please call the UPENN LIMBS Study Coordinator at (215) 615-6570 for more info
