Great Eye Health Tips

Hello all,

The energy distribution between my eyes is not well balanced, perhaps due to city pollution and
use of laptop frequently, making their size appear ‘different’ (this is not the case because
when I am extremely relaxed they return symmetrical).

Would anyone kindly recommend any herbs, exercises, foods and life habits that would promote eye
health?

Kind Regards,
Riyadh

Any kind individual willing to contribute?

I don’t know how to re-align the eyes. I have a similar problem due to a dislocated jaw I had once.

For general eye-health, I can only go by a few practices I used to do personally.

Generally, it’s 101 stuff, like rotating the eyeballs left and right, gazing at tip of nose, into distance…tip of nose…etc, then rubbing my hands really fast together and putting them over my eyes.

Apart from that, I have nothing.

If less is more try using a heated or cooled eye pillow. A personal favorite for would be a heated eye pillow in a supported (chest lifted and open) savasana to really find my breath.

When giving your eyes a break try focusing on objects of various sizes and distances away from you. Text is great for this because you have to really wait for your eyes to focus and therefore reduce haste. I suppose if you got good with this you could stand at the net during your friend’s tennis games and track the ball.

Awesome, I have not heard of an ‘eye pillow’ before.
Now to research and try…

Keep the good tips coming. Really need to resolve this.

One more bit. In practice recently I noticed that a sort of lateral neck stretch with the focus on elongation rather than depth traveled all the way to the muscles of my face; particularly on the left for me.

I have also noted however a sort of nervous habit of neck stretching that originally replaced neck cracking. Be careful with these things.
