I have been practicing basic Yoga for ten years after discovering in my late 50’s that lifting weights (even moderately) required more recovery time than I was giving it. I continue to lift weights twice a week, do cardio twice a week, and I practice my Yoga at home twice a week. I believe that it has opened several physical and spiritual doors for me. I am still a “beginner” and decidedly in the “learning” mode here. I may pose a few questions if I can’t find the answers using the search options. In the meantime several of the ongoing discussions are very informative.
