Greetings from the Land of Enchantment

Dearest Yogis and Yoginis,

Salutations and Prostrations to you.
I am delighted to discover these forums, and
wanted to introduce myself: Some of the hats
I wear are as writer, inter-faith minister, vajrayogini,
E-RYT, counselor, wife and mother to the world.

Thank you for creating and maintaining these forums
as they are of great benefit for all sentient beings.

It has been a wonderful journey practicing and
teaching since the 70’s…(14,000 hours instruction
…and counting!) I gave my first lecturette and asana
demonstration at the age of 17 to a group of women
at the Nassau County, NY Home Extension Program…
and the rest, as they say is history (or herstory).

My areas of deep interest are Yoga Therapy, Dzogchen,
Labyrinths (I just completed one in my backyard), and
I am candidate for a Doctorate of Divinity 2011.

Like browsing a garden with thousands of flowers…I look forward
to sharing and learning from each one of you.

May all be absolutely splendid for you and your family.
Best with Blessings,
Om Shantih

Teaching since the 70’s? Wow! Good for you. It’s a sincere honor to have you here. I look forward to learning a lot from you.

David, Thank you kindly. Yes, I may be an ‘older’ yogini…but I’m not dead yet! LOL
I was blessed to have begun my practice early…16.
My first teacher is still a mentor; she’s in her 70’s.

I’ve been teaching since I was 19. Boy, has it all changed…back then you were really on the fringe
if you taught yoga. How wonderful to see it mainstream in our culture.

I look forward to learning alot from you, too!

hi i’m also new here, i bow to your devotion to Yoga, hope that i can learn from you, Namaste.

Dear Ones,

I was baffled to see some ads by google
added under my original post: “Greetings
from the Land of Enchantment” from 6-28-09?

I did not place them there…strange?

How did that happen? Would you please remove
them asap, as it looks as if my post was advertizing things…

Thanks very much!

Okay…now they are gone…thanks.

Hi, aka360yogini! I saw your post about the Google ads – I think I’ve observed that ads get placed in the original post to be seen by people who have not logged in, but disappear once you do log in.

David, would you care to comment on this observation? Thanks

Nancy
