Greetings from California. I initially started taking Yoga classes about two months ago after coming back from a three day meditation retreat. The retreat was quite painful at times and I decided to find a way to better stretch and balance my hips/back. After a few classes, I quickly discovered that yoga was quite an interesting practice in its own right and have begun developing my practice further. Most of my classes so far have been in the Iyengar style. I look forward to learning more.
Hi there! I’m new to the forum so I thought I’d say hello.
I had a bit of trouble when I started out too. Periodically, I’ll see a chiropractor who also does energy work- I notice that my balance and flexibility will usually improve after these little tune-ups.
