Greetings!

Let me get one thing straight. I do not know anything about Yoga (besides generals :D), though I am Indian and have a mother and sister who practice it. So I will avoid joining any discussions regarding Yoga unless a question bears heavily on my mind.

I mainly joined these forums to become a part of debates in the religion subsection of the forum; nevertheless, it will be a great experience to learn the idiosyncrasies of the numerous people in this forum.

About me:

Religion: Santana Dharma
Hobbies: Reading, Surfing the Web, Playing sports, Playing the violin, Listening to Music…etc
Views: My views are almost exactly in line with those of Surya Deva with respect to other religions (not character)…I know how most of you feel about him so prepare for another one.

Welcome

I think debate is a great thing. We Hindus have understood the value of debate from Vedic times and still today we debate everything passionately. A culture that has a culture of debate cannot but help progress in its material, intellectual and spiritual development. Likewise, I think the debate that I provide on this forum, along with others, is what leads to progress on this forum and overal a much more challenging, interesting and rich forum.

The only loser in a debate is falsity and ignorance.

Good to know, SD, I did not know that India has a debating culture… one fellow I know if from Trinidad thought and he is indiand and he loves to debate and tell stories:)
