Greetings

…from Los Angeles, the most enlightened community in the history of the world.

Going under the knife tomorrow - shoulder arthroplasty. My x-rays look like satellite photos of the Grand Canyon. Years of proletarian abuse. It’s not a total joint replacement, they’ll just be sawing off the end of the humerus and replacing it with titanium and a plastic socket. I have the left shoulder done six months from now.
I’m not concerned with healing. I’ve been able to direct chi with my mind anywhere in my body for about a year now. I do hope to practice yoga post-surgery, to the exclusion of any other exercise exzcept cardio and nei kung, and am wondering if anyone has experience with this challenge.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums and best of luck with the surgery and your recovery! You may want to pose your question in the general discussion forum as many will miss it here.

Hi welcome to the forum. I am pretty new as well. I lived out in Cali. The bay area though.
