as with all yoga is supporting the body’s own ability to heal.
Do I understand you’re having issues regardless of yoga practice? Or is this FROM yoga practice?
If this is a result of your current yoga practice then I’d like to know what you’re doing. It’s possible you’re not practicing in a healthy, aligned way relative to your body and it’s suppleness.
Assuming this is NOT from yoga…The methodology for working with a student in you situation would be similar to how one would work with fertility or menstrual issues. Not identical but some similar principlas - bringing energy into the groin.
It would be challenging to work with your situation without a studio and a proper set of yoga props. If you’re just at home you may try Baddha Konasana (bound angle pose). Please place a folded blanket under your sitting bones to tip your sacrum forward slightly. Sit up tall and lengthen the spine. Bring the soles of the feet together so the footprint of the left foot presses into the footprint of the right foot. Work to bring the heels in toward the pubic bone AS LONG AS your spine doesn’t begin to slump.
Most men are very bound in this area and the knees do not drop at all. Then move the hands to the lower shins (ankles) and move the heels away from the groin until you can bring the spine erect. Drop the shoulder BLADES down the back. You may also do this pose with your back against a wall. Or on your back with the sitting bones at the baseboard and the legs up the wall.
You can also do viparitta karani (legs up the wall pose). Sit with your left hip and left whoulder against a wall, pivot on your sitting bones bringing your spine to the floor perpendicular to the baseboard and extend your legs up the wall as though you were going to imprint your footprints on the ceiling tile.Keep the legs together and firmed. Relax torso and upper extremities. Open the palms up to the sky and move the arms slightly away from the body.
See how this suits you.
