Hamstrings and Spinal Curvature

  1. When the medial hamstrings contract does this make the leg roll inward?

  2. When the medial hamstrings are tight and/or weak does this make the leg roll outward?

  3. When you have an “S” curvature of the spine, generally does the persons head want to turn away from the curve or convex of the curve when supine?

  2. Not possible to detect. The head rotation is more commonly a result of which direction the cervicals are rotated. The head being more comfortable going away from the direction of curve.
