Headstand and Dental Flossing

Namaste,

This mornings practice marked 3 weeks of daily asanas in the morning for me.

I’ve noticed that it’s become a lot easier for me to floss my teeth. Usually it’s hard to get the floss down between them, but now it’s easier. I can see gaps now that weren’t there a few weeks back.

I’m awarding yoga, and the headstand in particular, for this change in me! I’ve also lost 5lbs - I had lost 10lb but ate and drank beer constantly over the weekend put 5lbs back on.

My asana practice usually has me doing Sirsasana (headstand) almost last in my routine only followed by Savasana (corpse).

I had to share this with someone, or nobody! whatever, whoever! I love me
Om shanti!

Yoga is good for the teeth IMHO

BTW - I’m English, so naturally I have fairly bad teeth right. Flossing is no easy task for a man like me. ooops I supposed to edit the OP NM

be careful with drinking and yoga especially inverted poses. just telling…

I don’t usually do headstands after a beer if that’s what you mean. Only staying in headstand briefly for about a minute atm.

Thank God. I thought you were dental flossing upside down. Just figured this place might be weird or something. I am somewhat relieved. Phew.

Flossing in a headstand  Now that would take some talent, balance and practice!
