Hi,
I just stumbled on this forum after typing ‘yoga forums’ into my searchbar… anyway after reading a few posts I thought I’d join up and
see If I can use this as a tool to help me get myself back into some sort of yoga practice…because it feels so good!
Started doing yoga about 10 or so years ago in my early 20’s and have kind of stopped for about the past 3 years not really done much in the way of asanas. Recently had a week at the beach and every day I went out on the dock and did a 30-60 minute asana routine…wow felt so good again even though my belly now gets in the way of many twists, forward bends and such…lol…I just say to myself hey, it doesn’t matter if I can touch my chin to my shins or not, it’s the realtime process of breathing and stretching and feeling that is the ‘yoga’ for me…
Anyway, I hope to keep checking back here and see what kind of community spirit is out there, I remember having fun on some old yoga newsgroups, some really inspirational people out there that have helped me in the past…
